Jesus, Cross and Kindness

a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

Once a thought came over my mind:
Let me find a heart that is Kind.
The search closed across a Cross.
It was blood red like a red rose.

So I found Kind heart in a Cross.
So I wear around my neck a Cross.
I keep it hanging, touching heart.
Keep reminding of touching heart.

Bleed for others as he did bleed;
Hang die on cross as one he died.
Love our neighbour, as he had done.
Pardon ignorant as he did pardon.

Greatest treasure He left behind!
Jesus, is there any one more kind?
