Prayers

a poem by Rajesh J

Oh! Burning Sun of the solar garden
Cast thy shadow in my garden.
The bending leaves will
Thank your kindness.
The blooming flowers will
Thank your brightness.
The shivering stems after cold nights
Will thank your warmness.
The waiting dew drops will
Thank you for giving them eternity.
But,
What would the deep resting
Roots can say?
Always sunk in darky soil
Oh! God cast thy kindness
In my society
The new born babies and
The farewell old ones
Will thank thy kindness.
But,
What shall the poor and needy
Can tell?
Always sunk in gloomy sorrow.
