Democracy
this wonderful concept
stolen and misused by groups of people
those who finance political parties.
They do not believe in it themselves
but tell us that we have it when given a choice
between seven types of mobile phones.
Yet when we protest against war, poverty, state propaganda
and newspapers that no longer have journalists that seeks the truth
but print lies verbatim,
we are treated like the enemy silenced to death
or pilloried by innuendos,
while politicians, the servants of the powerful
talk about the sanctity of free speech.
