While standing near a stream one morning,
I gazed up at the pristine blue endless sky
It swung round above me,
As though pleasantly greeting me “Hi”!
The stream murmured a heavenly music,
As though offering me a treat
I felt my heart just skip a beat,
My lips say, “Oh My!”
I shifted my gaze to the mighty mountain peaks,
That cradled the beautiful sky
Armies of deodars marched over the mountain cheeks,
As though saying, “We’ll live forever, never die!”
My eyes moved on to the foamy clouds,
Few broken up, some scattered
Clad in white, Oh! They looked so proud,
But the naughty zephyr soon had them shattered!
The intoxicating smell of the white lilies blooming,
Put me in a trance…
They seemed a sweet tune to be humming,
That made me want to dance!
These cosmos flowers, so fresh, innocent and clean,
Were just kissed by the sun
Oh! From this ultra-special land of paradise,
I’d never want to run!
