Musings

a poem by Sony Dalia

Lunar disc
looks so fresh and clean-
no wonder, she has been
bathing night long in the lake.

Meandering stream
pauses yonder,
to watch chirping sparrows,
sprightly parrots on the trees.

Sky stretches
in the lengthy river,
but modest enough
to shrink in a mirror.

She loves her
beauty in the looking glass,
sadist tree drops a leaf,
ripples shatter blissful Moon.
