Nameless

a poem by Simon M V J

Arre babu, shhhhhh, hoyyy, edo
Names they call me
Names disgusting
When I am just me

The same old me
In branded sheen
And big-name car
Make them change

Saar, ji, Mr., Sir,
Names appalling
Whoaaaaa, that’s not me
It’s a pity

Kicking then,
Grovelling now
Oh what magic
These brands do

While I remain me
