I wept and wept along the passing years,
Sometimes to the grave dangers imagined;
Sometimes to the petty reasons which needed a grin;
When I woke up in between the filled eyes and smile-
I saw a world beautiful, with smiling faces dancing around.
Started digging a pond to fill it with happiness;
But happiness waved me adieu and made it rough.
The cracks in the pond looked like ferocious monsters;
They lurked near me opening their broken mouths.
My tears came back to me to lull me.
The pond was filled slowly, not with happiness,
In the middle from the twinkling eyes, one more drop,
One more drop fell and no more.
