A Never-Ending Question of Life

a poem by Sudarshan Madhav Karhale

Known is my name,
unacknowledged is my fame–
what a game
does life play.

Whom to praise,
whom to blame–
when to pass,
when to claim.

Who is real,
who is fake–
be for ourselves
or for someone’s sake.

How to give,
how to take–
where to invent,
where to remake.

How much to laugh,
how much to cry–
lose hope already,
otherwise,
give another try.
