Phantasmagoria

a poem by Jayati

Phrases are charming
Prince in uniform
Sentences are with clauses
Grammatic norms
She, a country belle
Wish to wear the crown.
Coke oven desire
That in her heart burn.
Lights her lantern
Flames wild and tame
Blessed are the meek
Them nature sustains.
Minstrel minx minuet
Fireflies torn
Danced through the night
Until their wings tire and were worn.
From the quorum quote,
“Note of good Qualification”
Token cash awards for nature,
Petunia-beautification
Fashion model example putative postpone.
Go without something that you quite want.
Methinks business, literature of shot, not caught alone.
