In the rugged journey of life
You were the valley I found on my way,
In the meadows of friendship,
I reclined and let away my life worries.

When I sat on the rock of loneliness,
And was composing life’s tunes,
You were the devoted listener,
Cared my song
With true heart appreciated it.

When I walked through the garden of life
You were my only companion,
To appreciate the beauty of flowers
And wonders nature presented in the way.

When the light of my life was shut out,
You came through like a ray of sunshine,
Piercing the hole of darkened life,
And filled with all pleasantness.

You stood like a lonely flower
And breezed the fragrance of life
To my deserted house
Of my being.

You were a dream companion
Which I had lacked in playground of
My youth,
You gave a second youth for me,
And drowned all my sorrows
In the deep ocean of life
And raised in me like a new sun
With new hope for the day.

When all are gone
When I sit in this Shore of this life
Alone,
You in my memories
Keeps on breaking the silence of
My life.
