Gossamer woven dreams

a poem by Bindu Vijayan

Gossamer woven dreams
Never did I know
That you would weigh me down
So much.
Red tinged clouds
Ye tempt me to muse
Don’t those lofty blue attires
Suit ye a hundredfold more?
Soft sprays breaking forth
Tis hard to believe
That thy mother cascades
Cutting through the rugged rocks.
Dreams, visions, hopes.
Feathery beings, soaring high
Yet, they root us deep
Into life’s soil.
