Nature’s Precious

a poem by Uma Parthasarathy

Seasoning juggles
of toil and sweat
Brings forth
from the mundane rocks
A lustrous Aura
Condescending
before mankind,
She walks in
Majestic resplendence
Peerless.
The stars and the moon
humble
To enthrone the ‘Glittering Glory’.
From one to all
Yearn do men
To wive the ‘Queen of Eternity’
And give life
An unfading rainbow of vivacity.
