She Wins

a poem by Elaine E. Howie

I flash you with my senses
And hold you without mention
I press my toes into your hand
And you declare you will always be my man

But is that enough for me
I mean I like her you see
She winds me up like a toy
And she does things that you can’t buy

I rush to get dressed
You try to get fresh
I hold out my hand
You can’t believe this plan

I bend over to help her up
She is lusting for my cup
I try to swing away
And my arm swipes your face

You are in kiss mode
I walk into your abode
We smile
And then it all gets wild

A lifetime of friends
Sorry little boy my girl wins
