Courage

a poem by Satish Kakri

You amass power
And consider carrying
out actions that are
ruthless. You think
killing, destroying
and disturbing the
inherent natural peace
is the symbol of your
courage. You think
you can do it only
because of your
courage and power.
And those who don’t
destroy, nor kill are
cowards.

It is a fallacy. Your
futile, vile belief.
For the courageous
do not need to exhibit
violent actions to prove
their might.

It is only insecurity that
goads you to act like a
beast and damage the
reputation of human
birth and human soul.
