What’s with the Universe?

a poem by Teesha Guliana

What is with the universe
Playing games
With my vision so far?
I seem so lost
Nowadays
I no longer
Want to wander
Into the galaxies
Which led me through
Spiral stairways.

Into the garden
Of lavenders
And primroses
With few drops
Settling on top.
They seem to crown
The best among them all.

I’d jump in all the way
To enjoy the sight
Before it
Goes slipping away
From my hand
Just like some
Fond memories
Of the sun basking in
With daylight shine
The stars twinkling bright
Giving me signs.

Signing me off
Towards my sheer luck
Backing me up
In fantasies no one
Not a body
Had the courage
To believe and come up.

To believe and come up
With mind bobbling energy
Which I could ever match.

What is with the universe
Playing games
With my vision
So far?
