Occasionally Yours

a poem by Rao K R

Sometime,
even the casual
strokes of a brush,
spruced up in white

or yellow,
might photofinish
blooming cherries
or a beautiful

laburnum,
and morph them
into the artifices
of eternity.

While a well-
conceived metaphor,
limned on
the crest of sea-

waves,
may fall flat as
a missed out
opportunity,

or as a receptacle
of reality,
all stumped
out.
