Godson

a poem by Swarit Verma

In the city of Bethlehem
Their lived the Lady Mary Father Joseph
And Their Godson
Godson was innocent and wise
In his body I could see
The glory of light
And truthfulness is visible
In his transparent eyes

In the city of Vrindavan
Their lived the mother Yasodha
Father and and their adopted
God son
This God was wise
Beauty in his nature can be drive
His knowledge is worth than
His innocence
He is regarded
For his eternity

These both Godson
Were shepherds
And even regarded as the saviour
Of the Mother Earth
But the difference is, one is regarded as Hindu
And other is regarded as Christian
Which is the great difference
Don’t ever try to divide
Both are from same abode
Oh Godson
Oh God
