Thee in distress

a poem by Pratheeksha Andezhuth

Elegant her slender body
Her bony fingers played musical notations in her veil
So perfect her fine floral gown,
So rich her luscious strawberry hair.

Wedding bells are ringing ahead,
Still why thee in distress?
Why thy paramour,
That charmer from venice,
Caused deep wounds
Deep down inside you?

Will you ever get out of distress as time pass by or
Still will thee in distress?
