No issues, take tissues

a poem by Kaavyashri Rao

Excuse me, can I cry??
Honest howling, don’t wanna lie.
Lacrymal lassoes lows, the rest fly high.
Handy to carry a handkerchief,
Can’t rage and rant, not raff riff.
Only sobs, sniff, breathy bawls, broken or miffed.
No, not really a sentimental fool
Prefer looking dumb than cruelly cool.
Do or die, be cruel or cry, that’s the rule.
Tell me, are tears truly terrible?
For burn outs, babies, bosses who crumble,
Human breakdown, not actually horrible,
Washes away fragments, follies, fears,
Catharsis in any crisis, tonic like tears.
