Her tears

a poem by Ismail M

She has a briefcase
She keeps her belongings in the briefcase.
I thinks some valuable things inside it
That hiding, is it from me
Even though I never check it
But I can’t wait more days without opening it
My anxiety increased day-by-day
What is in it?
One day her absence at the home
I got the key of her brief case and
I simply opened it!
Seriously I checked what is in it?
But preciously nothing found and
Only found one pair of her mother’s old cloth
Alas! Her mother is not alive!
And one pair of her wedding dress
She is my wife!
I am a strong man, but my eyes in tears
And tears again
