Thoughts of a Wanderer

a poem by Avishek Chakraborty

I will be telling you this with amaze
I don’t know this place but with a gaze
As I see the diverging ways
Don’t know which one leads to the maze
I shall take the one where the lost soul stays

A question then arises in mind
Answers to which, shall I ever find?

What if the road never ends?
What if the mind remains lost?
What if I never make amends?
What if I rest on the frost?
