I experienced

a poem by Vikash Poddar

I experienced the harrowing plight
On the murky night
I was pale and death-white
While panting and distressing
Like the unsteady kite
I turned pale and vomit
It seemed that my burning head
Would boil the water and clothes colour fade
No vitality to read and feed
The curer told that I have been kicked
From the malarial parasite for its feed
I shed the tears
For the unhealthiness fears
Worrying and questioning
That, ”How would I be out of this wailing
from this state of mine at this time?”
