The Con Man

a poem by Varun Sharma

There was a man, a lot he conned,
If you accused him, he frowned.
You tell him not to con,
Then he’d act out the Don.
For everything he’d con,
but before he was caught he’d be gone.
All the time he kept conning,
Unaware that his life was drowning.
All his life he conned.
At last, all hope of being truthful had dawned.
