The Blue revolution

a poem by Vahdam Saad

Cold waves of descent lashed my tepid body
Threw me off balance
Caught off guard
Veiled in the hate of another man’s eyes
Caught in the spate of a dead tide’s rise
Nothing that is, exists anymore,
All images and words are now painted jokes
Yoke my feelings to an ox cart
And throw them down the the torse and cliffs
That are splattered with my grey matter
Plain truth doubles for some
Plain truth doubles for some
For some the truth is straight,
Blinkered and seamless within
The time to throw ashes and sparks
Into the moist furnace is here
Rejoice one and all it is here
This revolution is here will stay
This revolution will be fed
By blue blood who lead this revolution dead
