When Love Felled…

a poem by Sidharth Kumar

Whispering summer
To the
Defiant winter
No one came closer
When love felled

Melancholy truth
Outcry in the vast desert
Was upholding the trembling person within
Only
When love felled

Gushed not showered
By the roaring sky rains
When love felled
Heart cracked like the dry leaf
The noise was ofcourse, white

When love felled
In the wrong arms
Broken were the charms
Lost were the dreams
That night, a boy turned into man

Painless body
To the cactus thorns
Sacrifices moved on
Heart never tuned on
When love felled

From heart to the ground
When love felled
Finding answers was someone
To find
There were none

Secluded life
On the journey to the unknown
No companion
When love felled
Life came to an end…
