A sparkle in the Sunlight

a poem by Shantanu Patil

My first is in December, and
Second in Pin.
My third is in Blank, and
Fourth in Slim.
My fifth does a turn and comes 1st in Owl,
sixth comes 3rd in Final
seventh comes 7th in past tense of Growl.
Yes, I’m the DIAMOND
and make everyone delight.
I’m the priced possession of one
who has me and
SPARKLE in the sunlight water in a brook,
when a crook steals me,
detecting me
is a job of a real life
When U’ll have me,
U’ll know what U POSSESS.
