A speck in the cosmos,
Ensconced in its bloated ego,
Basks in its narrow world.
Blissfully oblivious,
It kicks and croons,
King of its puny planet.
Cruel knowledge bursts the bubble,
The speck’s lost in the storm,
The mirage is blown away.
Naked without its clouded cloak,
Will it start afresh or fade away,
Pining for that lost façade…
