Broken

a poem by Rathi Pradhan

With dull and misty eyes,
recalling words you have spoken,
inside me a heavy heart lies,
which is spell bound and broken!

Oh! This is a queer shock,
which shattered my dreams.
Your heart is a hard rock,
even knave now it seems!

Do I say your privity wins?
For a while you did vanquish me!
Guess, now the reality begins,
the reality where it is only I and me!

The abhorrence, detest, and hate,
I give all these just for you…
Now, not any more I will wait,
but just come out of my blue.

The sorrow and pain will toss
I realize you are not worth me.
Truly I do not care about your loss,
if none god is surely with me!

I will just pray to my master,
that people like you should never me touch.
God! Save me from such disaster,
I do not ask for anything more or much!
