The Coward!

a poem by Rajah Iyer S

All but me
Is adored by All
Forgetting for a moment
Mine is the Best Job for you All!

Let me tell you
Not one bit I am deterred
Of all the forces on this Universe
Still everyone of you call me a Coward!

Am I not the One
On that April Day in Forty Five
Saved you all from Hitler the Tyrant?
His Skull lay scattered with a Hole?

I spare none who refuses to Toe my line
Like the ones who Love to Live
Take this Jesse Giesinger only at 19
Still you call me a Coward of All!

Have I ever stopped cleaning this Universe
Admire my sincere Work and Duty minded devotion
Ofcourse I am a bit of my Own
Defying you, all the Doctors’, be it Barnard you!

AIDS is also my own innovation
But not out of Cowardice again,
But by Design and Excellent Execution, you see,
That My Management Style is Courageous indeed!

I know I am the hated One
But my Task on hand is always Full
I spare none but ONE
As I need to be that ONE always!

ONE of me is all pervading
ONE of me is all perplexing
ONE of me is a Disguise for Atheists
ONE of me is the Rainbow you see!

Not that you will call me a Coward Still
As the ONE in me is the DEATH you see
And when I am the ONE you fear Always!
How can I be a Coward I know not?
