Haiku

a poem by Patricia Prime

1)
Draped over the rim
of a porcelain cup
a bag of green tea

2)
It is nearly spring-
students shed their bulky clothes
on the grass

3)
During
an electrical storm
plums fall

4)
The rain
makes his shirt transparent-
I admire his pecs

5)
After the wedding
rice granules
in the priest’s cuffs

6)
In the morning
neighbour throws hair from his brush
into the garden
