When my mother rocked my cradle
All said I am the happiest soul on earth
But I knew not then
The joy or sorrow

I grew and walked to school
All said childhood is the most happy hood
But I knew not then
Expect my huge syllabus to read

I grew and jogged to adolescence
All said that this is the age of fun
But I knew not then
Except to reach my career goals

I grew and went into youth
All said I am the luckiest person on earth
But I knew not then
Except to fulfill my responsibilities

Now
I grew and entered in to old age
All said I am a successful person
But I knew not now
What I have achieved at last
