Loneliness

a poem by Chaitanya Pragada

Flower without the wake-up call of the bee,
Stream before joining the large sea.
Hill without the moist touch of the cloud,
Tree when there’s no sight of the bird.
Earth without the drops of rain,
Fire during the absence of air.
Early morning without the sun,
And life without enjoyment and fun.
Winter without the flakes of snow,
Sky without the company of rainbow.
A lover sitting alone in calmness,
No words can describe their loneliness.
