Queen of Hills

a poem by Inchara

Amidst silken mist emerged,
Majestic Blue Mountains
Rain, snow or thunder
They didn’t lose their valor

Tall pines stood in harmony
Colorful buds bloomed in luster
Trimmed grass glowed modestly
Lush greenery beamed proudly

Narrow lanes endured actions many
Stunning lakes drove lovers crazy
Hot tea warmed hearts calmly
Horse rides chilled nerves quickly

Raindrops bejeweled fresh lily
Wet sand carpet smelt heavenly
Cool air swept across tenderly
Bees conversed to flowers fondly

Tapering pathway thrilled the journey
Dawdling train lightened the scenery
Cozy ambiance abetted the dreamy
Dim light favored couples lovely
