Mother Nature

a poem by Abraham Oommen

Tasted the nectar of love
For the first time
Lying in thy lap

Seen a surf of colours
on thine face
Felt the throbs of thy heart
Lying in thy lap

Felt thy refined profile
Prolific and profligate
Sucked thy nipples
Quaffing off life in abundance
Lying in thy lap

Heard the myriad music full
Slept with thy Lullaby sweet
Dreamt colourful scenes of life
Oh! mother, the fountain of life and beauty!
Wake me up to perfect bliss and joy
Lying in thy lap.
