The skies kissed the tender clouds,
And the sun hid shyly behind them
And its rays touched the sea waves beneath it,
The waves were dressed in blue and green,
Luring Nature into its clasp,
The lush green trees and the sand so yellow,
And the colorless wind blowing below,
The shore so lonely and so bright,
That it would be any poet’s delight,
The sea waves kissing the shore again and again,
To tell its love to the land,
And to touch that yellow, yellow sand,
That brightens the horizon so far away,
And sinks the sun in it after the day!
