You said you are mad

a poem by Satheesan Rangorath

You said you are mad
But I like your madness
Give me a bit of it
Laughing loudly in ecstasy you hugged me
Permeating into every cell of mine
Making me dance to the tune of your love
Your sense of freedom
Your sensibility, your sensitivity
Forgetting myself
I waded into your dream
Melting myself I disintegrated
Dissolved into the stream of your benevolence
Your grace, your compassion
There in your bosom I merge
Laughing louder and louder
Tuning myself into your smile
Then I found there, where time stands still.
Behind your eyelashes
I remain there in folded hands un-folding my ego.
