The vesper and the solitude

a poem by Tanmay Dhar

And the fire of the firmament
Has gone out.
I am disclosing my silent soul,
Through this eternal thirst and void writs.
I am looking for a single moment
Amongst this draft of dusk.
A single moment,
When my tepid heart shall sing
The hymns of a new luminous world.
And the stars shall quench their thirst
In my solitude and tears.
And blossoming in the bud of silence
I will start my journey for years.
