There’s a girl in my class,
I won’t tell you her name,
This poem is about her,
Hope its not too tame.
The first thing that strikes me,
Is the beauty of her eyes,
Oh! so soulful, so expressive.
I haven’t seen anything half as nice.
And then there’s that smile,
Its something one can’t miss,
Oh! so charming, so disarming!
It makes me sit up and take notice.
From head to toe,
A picture of beauty she is,
One look, and in me spreads,
Euphoria, like a contagious disease.
Let me tell you one thing,
She’s not just a pretty face,
She’s gentle, mild-mannered, decent,
And perfect in all possible ways.
I ask her just one thing.
Hey, will you be my friend?
I’ll be there for you,
By your side at life’s every bend.
