Nature, I’m told
is made up of the
Panchamahabhutas –
the sky, fire, air,
water and earth.Quite elementary this!

Now, don’t I wish
to ensure that my
progeny will live in
harmony forever more?
How so?
Quite simple, I’m told
adhere to Vasthu –
the science,
that helps you live
in harmony with
the universe in
your home and
work place!

Urged to give
it a try …
I turn my bed around
and place my head
towards the South,
with my sleeping form
turned towards the left!
Weren’t my nightmares less?
(Did I have them in the first place?)

I move my stove from
the West and set it in
the South East!
Didn’t I find a change,
a lightness perhaps?
All I know is that I’m
eating around the clock!
(Is that good or bad?)

I move my pooja room
to the Northeast,
change my gate from
the Southwest to the
North,
raise my Western wall
and lower my Eastern wall.

Cut the tall trees in
the East and North directions.
I’m constantly moving things
around,
my head spins.
I feel like a compass!
Now,
sit back and
reap the rewards
I’m told.
