God Won’t Forget

a poem by Mabel Annie Chacko

If we could look in every heart,
We’d find that each one has its part,
And those who travel fortune’s road,
Sometimes carry the biggest load.

If times are hard and you are blue,
Think of others worrying too,
Just because your trials are many,
Don’t think others haven’t any.

if you don’t look for luck,
But strive for success,
You’ll keep out of misery, and
Your regret will be less.

Be sincere and you’ll find,
You’ll not regret it;
Do your duty and be kind,
God will not forget it.
