It is splendid to see the Asoka Blooms

a poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

It felt splendid
When my gaze fell on the Asoka Blooms
In a plenty
Dotting the tree
With bright orange-yellow colour
Turning red before wilting,
A mixed experience
Of yellow, orange and red specks of blooms
Bunched in
And decorating the branches,
The Asoka Blooms
So lovely to look at
In February and March
