Have you seen…

a poem by Teesha Guliana

Have you seen the world,
Through the eyes of a photographer?
The adjustment of the lens,
Portray the perfect angle.
The serene green grass,
The beautiful blue sea,
The wide white colds,
And the human beauty.
Have you seen the world,
Through the eyes of a photographer?

Have you painted the world,
Through the hands of an artist?
Every stroke of the brush,
Every colour in the palette,
Portray the perfect sunrise,
At the break of the day.
And the breathtaking sunset view,
At the fall of the dawn.
Have you painted the world,
Through the hands of an artist?

Have you heard the world,
Through the ears of a musician?
The plucking of the string,
Of the handsome guitar,
The beat of a drum,
A tune of the flute.
Portray the perfect synchronisation,
Of the instruments,
With the chirping of the birds
The humming of the bees,
And the hush of the wind.
Have you heard the world,
Through the ears of a musician?

Have you seen the world,
Through the imagination of a reader?
Every fairy tale,
Every fiction,
Every rom-com,
Every non fiction,
Build up to the imagination,
Of the nature surrounding by.
The butterfly hustling,
Until it comes into the arms,
And the world bustling,
With people all around.
The way it is believed to look alike,
Through the Rose tinted glasses,
Of the window,
And how it does not look alike,
Through the pages of the,
Book with a prim Rose
Have you seen the world,
Through the imagination of a reader?
