Life under Lock Down

a poem by Yerra Praneeth

I woke up at 7 p.m.
I felt it was like next day at 12 a.m.

Streets were silent
No signs and Sounds of vehicle violence
Busiest buses are at rest
Beautiful bird’s sounds are at their best
Daily life activities and duties are at rest
Daily municipal workers are doing their best
Doctor’s and nurse’s performance is finest

Nature is nourishing
Noise pollution is vanishing
Air planes are at rest
Air is at its best
People’s living life, are at rest
Pollution is coming out as a guest
Bird’s are living in their nest
Nature is at its best
