Poems on
War

No more war please…

a poem by Atharva Mohankumar Tapadiya

As messy as a dustbin,
Blood and tears everywhere.
Families broken, sweet homes ruined,
Everything destroyed, isn’t it unfair?

Screams and shouts fill up the air,
Why me? I’m innocent…
Shots and explosions heard everywhere,
No one ready to be abandoned

Skies blue and the grasses green,
People happy, peace to all.
Everywhere, humanity and call of friendship,
No matter, nothing can make us fall.

Oh dear, everyday is beautiful…
Where there is no war, but only peace.
Happiness and joy everywhere,
NO MORE WAR PLEASE!
