Anna of Kuwait

a poem by

Barry E Johnson

Anna of Kuwait left me here to wait as her passion
led me to the telephone I was always going to her home.
She was that of a gingerbread girl that
while in The States grew bored with this world.
Anna of Kuwait screamed my name that of beauty
as we came together riding by the lakes.
A women of beauty she filled my life
down to that of a duty as we lay.
I will never forget Anna of Kuwait.
