Ten o’clock they said,
When the master would head,
An address to the nation
Another balcony task in preparation?
Barking dogs aren’t just nights’
For, packs do roam the day for fights
On roads unusually abandoned
Beside the shutters of shops downed.
Monkeys did jump the high wall
To find their evolved cousins missed in all,
No more fruits could be stolen
But the streets lay deserted, beholden.
As the World now started to breathe
Rivers flow white as teeth
The skies transparent to show
The distant mighty mountains with snow.
Would the master release the miscreants?
Held inside, awaiting amends
Twenty one days end tonight
Perhaps one more fortnight?
