Are you Alone

a poem by S. S.

Are you alone, happy?
I say, “No, you are bonded in yourself”
Ruled by thy memory, your surroundings
You are alone, ruled by everyone.

Your heart wishes to see the green
But you see tears, that’s yours
Like crystals they often flow
When wishes seem hollow.

You may smile, but its shallow
Your eyes will reflect your sorrow
Its all in you, ruled by every fellow
You are bonded, slave of your own emotion.
Let it rule, you are sad- you are anyway dead.
