Schisms

a poem by Priyanka Sharma

Heedless, regardless, dauntless
The silvery Moon expends its pale energy.
Little does it know
I’m not fearless.

Riddled with scorn
How do I face up to it
Little schisms in the silvery light
Is all it takes to break the fashion.

Capability does not always culminate
Into productivity.
You should know
Sagacious moon
With your ageless sagacity.

Merciless clouds have dissipated
Today on this night.
Escapism is not always possible
Bold courage is not always dispensable.
