No fakism please

a poem by Ajay Faw

One October winter ooh yeah a sunny day
We met in school with more pleasure
I thought it’s true but in vain
Still we joined with some scare as we differ
Not by soul but by look
[I thought…] alas!

We pretended to be friends yeah we
One bloomy may, may flower bloomed, you came home
Your green dress with some stripes
That golden floral design admired me yeah a lot
There too I thought you were true but in vain (no fakism please)
Still we continued to meet and
Chat more over phones, few help share
More friendship but in vain oh no

One Jan eve after party I realized, yeah I realized
This may be fake, I say betraying is a crime, don’t be a traitor
I have too many true friends, so I don’t need you traitor
I experienced,
