Feelings and Nothings

a poem by Siddharth Panicker

The wind swayed through;
The silken curls flew
It made her shook
Oh! That deadly look
It drove away pain,
And shrunk condescension
It oozed the charm
The passion and love
The purpose of soothing the heart
It did serve!
ALAS! All of it ended because of the shy heart
It is frail a heart;
The one that never tends to sever
The pretty maiden
She left me shaken.

APPEALING maiden whoever you are
Remember! I am not so far.
